This isn’t just a clock, it’s an image that was taken with my trusty Nikon, uploaded via the camera connection kit to my iPad, some mild editing via Photogene and FTP On The Go to my WordPress Gallery. Now I’m writing this post on that same iPad. I think I can consider the iPad a successful investment. I just saved myself from having to drag my laptop with me on my AZ trip later this Summer. Ohhhhh I’m pretty excited.

Posting an image to WordPress via iPad
Okay so I broke down and thought I’d try another way to upload images from my iPad to WordPress. Here’s what I did, I’m not even sure this is going to work the way I wanted it to.
I purchased the FTP On the Go app from the iTunes Appstore. Configured it for my FTP server, grabbed an images, navigated to my image gallery, I’m using the nextgen gallery, so it will be located under your wp-content/gallery directory. You may need to drill a little deeper to find your directory but I think you get the idea. If this actually works I will clean up this post with pictures and what not. But for now I will just add the picture that I “successfully” uploaded.

IPad and yfrog
So I’ve trying to figure out how to upload images from my iPad to my blog. Right now it’s a bit cumbersome but this is what I do.
Using Twitterific I upload my image to Yfrog, the go to the image I just posted and copy the link from there, and when I go to attach an image I just past my link right in there. Hmmm, well that’ the general idea.
