Sewing Gem

Every once in awhile you stumble on a little gem. This time it happens to be an antique sewing machine. I did a little “work” on this one using Niksoft’s HDR. I gotta admit I love it, of course I used it in conjunction with Photoshop. I will spare you all the details. I will probably end up doing a Photoshop tutorial on it at some point.

Until next time,

Skyline

Hi everyone…long time no post. No excuses just my day job tends to weigh on me, as such I’m not able to shoot as often as I’d like to. Today however I dropped my car off to get new tires and was walking back to the office. Thankfully I’m only about 4 blocks away. As I was nearing my office building I was pretty impressed with the way the clouds were reflecting off of it. Well as luck would have it I didn’t have my trusty camera with me. So I did the next best thing. I whipped out my cell phone and took a shot. I actually tried to compose as best I could but the glare made it a little difficult. (Note to myself. don’t leave the office without your camera.) So here the shot, honestly not to bad for a cell phone camera which happen to be a G2X.

Until next time,

It’s a horse thing

Not even sure what this is, but I think it’s a coat hanger.

Ducks at a Pony party

Hey everyone,

Well its been awhile since we’ve actually posted an image that didn’t come with a tutorial. But there is a lesson here, so don’t fret. :-) I had the most AWESOME time at a birthday party this past weekend in a Central Virginia. The guest of honor had her birthday party at a super cool little farm with – you guest it Ponies. There wasn’t just ponies that this here party. No Sirre! There were also ducks, three of that I think. So here are two of them, – oh the lesson. Where there are ponies there are ducks. (Yeah I know that makes no sense at all, but maybe if you take just a bit of time and take in your surroundings you will see there is more than just what you “thought” was there)

Curves and Layers Tutorial

Hey folks well I’ve gone and done it again. A Photoshop beginners tutorial on Curves and Layers. Its not in depth at all, otherwise it wouldn’t be a beginners tutorial. For this particular tutorial I used an image from Stockexchange, you can get to it here.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me.

Online Lighting Diagram Creator

Hi everyone, sorry we’ve been absent for a bit. Been working on some specific projects that have kept us/me busy. (No I’m not ready to tell you what those projects are yet). Anyways I’ve been reading through some of my favorate blogs and I can’t believe I missed this particular post. Yesterday afternoon I was reading Terry White’s Tech Blog which got me to this pretty cool site to generate a Photography Lighting Diagram. Yeah don’t ask me to explain, check it out yourself. But its pretty stinking cool!

Great Shoot Bored Photo Assistant

Hey there! Well the TiNi Images boys were out this past weekend. We were doing a family portrait shoot in down town Warrenton, VA. We had a good time for the most part. But if you ask my partner you would think we’d been there all day. We managed to get a few shots of Main St. If you live around Warrenton and were cruising down Main St, between 10:00 AM and 11:30 Am you probably saw us. Heck some of you even honked a friendly hello.

Until next time,
