Corvette Drive Fast

Hi Everyone,

The image here, is actually a composite of three different images. Two of them are images I shot, and one of them is a stock image I found of a jet. I’ve done compositing in the past, I just hadn’t put them on display so to speak. I’m sure there are things I can do better or at the very least different with it. The Corvette in this image isn’t mine, though I wouldn’t mind driving it. It belongs to my ever so cool brother in-law. Though he’d be cooler if the jet was his. :-)

I may end up doing a video tutorial on how I made this image. I’m still thinking on that at the moment.

Until next time.

Vintage Surfboards

Hi everyone!

I shot this image over the weekend, the lighting was bad, there was nothing good at all about it. When I got home and took a look, I really wasn’t sure what I was going to do with this image. I thought it needed a “vintage” look. I’m not sure if I’m pleased with the result but it will do for the moment. I think I  will be revisiting this image at some point in the near future.

Until next time,

Sewing Gem

Every once in awhile you stumble on a little gem. This time it happens to be an antique sewing machine. I did a little “work” on this one using Niksoft’s HDR. I gotta admit I love it, of course I used it in conjunction with Photoshop. I will spare you all the details. I will probably end up doing a Photoshop tutorial on it at some point.
